Social Project: YK Chinese New Year Giveaway 2024

Every time Chinese New Year rolls by, Yayasan Kossan is reminded of the need to share the joy with those in need. This month, we visited four homes as part of the YK Chinese New Year Giveaway 2024.

For two homes that we visited, which were the CKS Old Folks Home and the Tiam Yam Toh Teng Old Folks Home, in collaboration with the Sri Kota Medical Centre and Columbia Asia Hospital, we were able to provide full medical checkups for the residents. We also donated lunch, provisions that were needed by the home, and angpow for each occupant and staff there.

The other two homes that we visited were the Rumah Sejahtera Tanjung Malim and Rumah Sejahtera Bidor. For these two homes, we were able to sponsor packed food as well as a Chinese New Year t-shirts for the residents. We hope sincerely that these small contributions would bring joy to them on this joyful holiday. Gong xi fa cai!
