Social Project: YK Bubur Lambuk Programme 2026

In conjunction with the blessed month of Ramadan, Yayasan Kossan organised the YK Bubur Lambuk Programme 2026 at SK Bukit Kapar. Bubur lambuk is a traditional Malaysian savoury rice porridge closely associated with Ramadan, often prepared communally and distributed as a symbol of sharing and togetherness.

This year’s programme involved 15 volunteers, including teachers, villagers, and Yayasan Kossan volunteers. Through teamwork and cooperation, a total of 2,800 packs of bubur lambuk were successfully prepared and distributed to various groups within the community.

Recipients included school students as well as frontliners from Polis Meru, Bomba Kapar, and Klinik Kesihatan Meru, in appreciation of their dedication and service to the public.

Through initiatives like this, Yayasan Kossan hopes to continue fostering the spirit of giving and strengthening community bonds, especially during the meaningful month of Ramadan.
