Social Project: YK Bright Classroom (May – June 2022)

In our long history of helping others, we have long noticed that often, the smallest efforts can drastically change people’s everyday lives. Providing small comforts in places that people spend most of their time, such as in schools, is a simple yet effective way to brighten the day of students and teachers.

The YK Bright Classroom is an initiative that is designed to beautify and bring comfort to primary school classrooms. In June 2022, Yayasan Kossan sponsored and replaced the damaged tables and chairs of five schools, benefiting 4,713 students from:

• SK Bukit Kapar (2,191 student)
• SJKT Ladang Highlands (1,103 students)
• SK Kapar (643 students)
• SK Pelabuhan Klang (775 students)
• SJKC Bagan Pasir (91 students)

In total, 50 sets of students’ tables and chairs, 1 set of teacher’s tables and chairs, and paints to paint the classroom were donated to the schools. We hope that this small effort will bring joy and comfort to make learning a more enjoyable process to the students in this school.
