Social Project: Adopt A Friend – Sun Bear

As part of efforts to raise awareness about animal conservation and support the “Visit Malaysia Year 2026” campaign, Yayasan Kossan collaborated with Zoo Taiping in the Adopt A Friend programme.

Through this initiative, YK officially adopted a Sun Bear, which also serves as the official mascot for the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 campaign. The programme not only supports the care of animals at the zoo but also educates the public about the importance of protecting endangered species and promotes environmental conservation awareness from a young age.

Through participation in this programme, Yayasan Kossan hopes to inspire more people to take an active role in conservation efforts while creatively supporting the national tourism campaign in a meaningful way.
