Social Aid: YK Iftar Ramadan Program

Yayasan Kossan is always eager to enhance the celebrations of fellow Malaysians to spread joy and love, and Ramadan is no exception. We were honored to organize an Iftar session for the fasting Muslims in two orphanages, Rumah Penyayang Ulin Nuha and Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Pendidikan Al Mahabbah.

This year, we collaborated with Bengkel Daya Klang, an institution that provides job opportunities related to sewing, embroidery, bread and pastry, laundry, retail and bistro (restaurants). For this program, the OKU workers at Bengkel Daya Klang under the guidance of the teachers of the institution helped us prepare white rice, chicken curry, mixed vegetables, fruits, sambal belacan and drink packets for the Iftar program.

Bengkel Daya Klang has received financial support from the Federal Government through the Selangor State Social Welfare Department to cover the institution’s operating expenses. On our part, we were happy to work together with them to bless the orphanages that are taking care of those in need. Let’s spread the love in this month of Ramadan.
