Social Project: YK Chinese New Year Giveaway 2026

In conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration, Yayasan Kossan continued its annual tradition of giving through the YK Chinese New Year Giveaway 2026, reaching out to the elderly and underprivileged communities. This year, donations were extended to eight welfare homes: Hometown Elderly Care, Noble Care Klang, FDC Home Care, Klang Coastal Chinese Charity Home for the Elderly, Ho Seh Kin Hong My Home Senior Aged Care Centre, Guardian Angel Home, Rumah Sejahtera Bidor, and Pusat Jagaan Orang Tua Lee Tiam Yew.

Each home received contributions of mandarin oranges, bakkwa, and essential provisions based on their specific needs. In addition, every resident was presented with an angpow as a symbol of blessings and festive joy.

Beyond material contributions, the visits brought warmth, companionship, and a spirit of togetherness to the residents. Yayasan Kossan hopes that initiatives like this will continue to nurture compassion, respect, and care within the community, especially towards those in need.
