Social Project: YK Beach Cleaning 2024

Driven by our unwavering commitment to preserving Malaysia’s local landscapes, the Yayasan Kossan Beach Cleaning event stands as a cherished annual initiative for our organisation. This year, we focused our efforts on Pantai Remis in Jeram, Kuala Selangor, a beach renowned for its natural beauty. Our dedicated team consisted of 35 enthusiastic volunteers from Kossan, alongside four diligent staff members from Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Selangor. Together, we undertook the important task of cleaning the beach, resulting in the collection of 241.81 kg of rubbish—approximately the weight of a young elephant!

We encourage everyone to play their part in maintaining the cleanliness of our beaches. Simple actions, like disposing of trash properly and reducing waste, can greatly contribute to keeping our sands and seas clean. Let us work together to ensure that our beautiful beaches remain beautiful and well-preserved for generations to come.
