Social Project: YK Christmas Giveaway 2023

During the Christmas season, spreading love in orphanages and among those in need takes on a profound significance. For those without familial bonds in particular, the holidays can be a challenging time as it can magnify feelings of loneliness and isolation. Hence, Yayasan Kossan believes in the creation of a festive atmosphere filled with love and compassion in orphanages to foster a sense of community and remind everyone that they are valued and cherished, thus bringing the true spirit of Christmas to life.

This year, we honored the Christmas tradition by organizing our annual YK Christmas Giveaway event. Three homes were visited, which were the Grace Home for the Destitute, Rumah K.I.D.S, and Guardian Angels Home to give some Christmas presents to all the occupants and staff. In addition, we also provided food through a Christmas lunch pax by Kenny Rogers and Dunkin Donuts to bring further cheer to the celebration. In total, 118 beneficiaries benefited from the event. We hope that all of you will hop on the train to give the gift of kindness and generosity to convey a sense of belonging and warmth to those in need.
