Social Project: Adopt A Friend

As one of the yearly programs of Yayasan Kossan, the Adopt a Friend program is an initiative that is held in collaboration with Zoo Negara. Adopt a Friend allows members of the general public to adopt an animal in Zoo Negara and contribute to taking care of their food, enrichment and veterinary care. In return, fellow adopters will receive a certificate of adoption stating their animal of choice.
This year, YK donated RM5,000 and adopted five animals: a lion, a giraffe, a serval cat, a miniature horse, and a small-clawed otter. We hope that this contribution will help Zoo Negara care for the animals and continue to provide a space for children and families to enjoy seeing and spending time with live animals.
