Social Aid: YK Kids Get Ready to School with Adun Rawang

On 7th May 2023, Yayasan Kossan conducted another YK Kids Get Ready to School with Adun Rawang in Selangor. This event was to provide aid for students in need in order to begin the new school year, which ran from 11.30AM to 12.30PM at Dewan MPPK Kampung Melayu, Rawang, Selangor. The event was attended by Mr. RK Suppiah (Yayasan Kossan’s Vice President), YB Chua Wei Kiat (Adun Rawang), Puan Alice (Ahli Majlis Dun 15), and Haji Zahariman (Ketua Kampung), together with 50 students and their parents.

The identified students were from unprivileged backgrounds, who appreciated the aid given to them to begin the new school year. At the beginning of the event, all invitees delivered a speech to raise the spirits and motivation of the students. This was followed by a handover ceremony of basic school necessities to the students. We hope that this contribution helps to raise the spirits of these students, and that they will go far in life to bring a positive impact to society.
