Social Aid: Let’s Suhoor with Yayasan Kossan

Ramadan is nearing its end this year, and Muslims of Malaysia have only a few days of fasting left. Seizing this opportunity, Yayasan Kossan recently organized a “Let’s Suhoor with Yayasan Kossan” event to spread the love to those observing their fasts for this month. To those who may not know, the “suhoor” is a meal that Muslims take before the sun rises, in preparation for the dry fast that they will observe until dusk.

Three orphanages were identified for this event, which were the Pertubuhan Rumah Amal Cahaya Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (RACTAR), Rumah Anak Yatim Al-Firdaus, and Rumah Amal Cahaya Kasih Bestari. In total, YK made a donation of 100 units of “suhoor” packs, which consisted of a sardine bun, dates, biscuits, and Milo packet drinks to accompany their meal.

We hope that this contribution will strengthen the ties between us, as well as promote religious harmony for all.
