Social Aid: Christmas Celebration @ Sentosa Nursing Care (December 2022)

We welcomed Christmas, a season of joy and giving, with several planned celebrations that we were eager to share with others. One of these was the celebration with the Sentosa Nursing Care old folks’ home. The event involved three volunteers from Yayasan Kossan and two volunteers from the Sri Kota Medical Centre.

The event began with free check-ups given to the old folks at the home by the Sri Kota Medical Centre volunteers. This was followed by a Christmas gift-giving ceremony by Yayasan Kossan to all occupants and staff of the home. The event ended with the occupants being served KFC as lunch. It was truly magical to be able to share this holiday with them in the spirit of the holidays. The smiles that we managed to bring on that day were truly worth the weight of gold in its value.
