Social Aid: Plant a Tree with the Free Tree Society (November 2022)

We love collaborating and working with like-minded individuals, groups and organisations whose mission is to serve the country and society. The Free Tree Society (FTS) is one of these organisations, whose mission is to maximise the power of the community to raise awareness on environmental degradation and distribute resources, such as free trees, to empower sustainable practices.

Nineteen volunteers from Kossan participated in one of FTS’s Plant a Tree event, which began with a briefing on greenhouse effects before they were divided into two groups. One group handled the plants propagation, while the other handled fertilising, cleaning the compost area and watering the plants. Both groups were also able to exchange tasks. At the end of the session, each volunteer was given three free plants for each email registered with FTS. Do go ahead and join one of their events and support their cause!
