Social Project: “Sekolahku Sejahtera” Health Carnival (August 2022)

In collaboration with Kelab Doktor Muda SK Sungai Binjai (Sungai Binjai Primary School’s Young Doctors Club), Yayasan Kossan ran a two-day health carnival targeting the nearby community. This large-scale program involved schools from five districts, which are Perak, Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Sabah. In total, close to 5,000 people attended the carnival.

In essence, the carnival was held to bring healthcare to the people. Those who attended were given the opportunity to get free health checkups and dental checkups to get medical advice necessary for further treatment, or merely to address the health concerns that they have.

Yet, despite the serious focus on health, there were also booths set up for the public to enjoy. Exhibitions of many kinds were also available, with some photo booths set up for the visitors to take photos as souvenirs of this memorable day.
