Volunteer Aid: School Beautification at Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan Liat Choon (November 2016)

Schools are institutions that lay the foundation of a child’s development.

They play a key role in developing children into responsible citizens and good human beings through recognition and nurturing.

Education provides us with knowledge about the world. It paves the way for a good career. It helps build character. It leads to enlightenment. It lays the foundation of a stronger nation.

To ensure the effectiveness of the education process, a good education environment is vital for the children.

In November, Yayasan Kossan initiated a community project together with the employees of Kossan to  help in the refurbishment efforts of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SRJK) Liat Choon in order to provide a better education environment for the children.

On that day, the team extended their support  by painting the windows, basketball court, and decorating the classroom exterior walls with colorful designs. It was a meaningful day and the volunteers felt a sense of achievement in supporting the school to enhance its surroundings for the happiness of the children.
